ABOUT CHERYL

I am Cheryl Casey and I have worked in the social services and mental health fields for over 15-years as an advocate and therapist.

I received my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach and a Masters in Counseling from the University of Phoenix.

I have extensive experience work with children, teens, and adults providing individual, couples, group, and family therapy to those that are dealing with depression, anxiety, anger, trauma, PTSD, grief, divorce, identity issues, parenting, workplace challenges, and many other social and emotional challenges.

The modalities that I use frequently are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Theory, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), Solution-Focused Therapy, Bowen Family Theory, Attachment Theory, Motivational Interviewing and Person-Centered Therapy.

"In a non-judgmental way, I will meet you where you are in your life. We will work together at your pace, as I encourage and empower you to live your fullest life."

"Cheryl is very patient, experienced, and she brings a valuable perspective to her work, as she genuinely cares about others." John Casey, LCSW

Sometimes the hardest part is to make that first call. I encourage you to make that call.
