Couples therapy or individual therapy? …

Many of you in relationships at some point decide to attend some couples therapy to strengthen your relationship. This is great, but however, two individuals make up a couple. So, therefore, don’t forget about your individual needs, while you are tending to your couple’s needs.

I usually recommend to my couples that they each do some individual therapy, as well as their couples’ sessions, if at all possible. This will allow each person to work on their own challenges, as well as their corporate needs.

Processing our own feelings will go a long way in strengthening the relationship as a whole. Give it a try and post a comment.
